For the soon-to-be-launched Himalayan 452, Royal Enfield has been releasing a series of teaser images. In its last testing phase, the adventure tourer made its way to the Umling La pass. The Himalayan 452 is the much-awaited motorcycle of the year and is all set to have its official India launch on November 7. In a recent development, the bike manufacturer has released a fresh set of teaser images of the model on its official social media handles. The image shows the brand-new Himalayan 452 decked up in a striking Kamet White paint job. With this, it is expected that Royal Enfield will address the issues posed by the weight and apparent lack of power of the current Himalayan 411. Royal Enfield Himalayan 452: Design, Dimensions and Colour Options
Compared to the previous model, the Himalayan 452 has a larger fuel tank, a high-set LED headlamp, a beak fender, and a compact tail section with a split seat arrangement. The front mudguard prominently displays the 'Himalayan' branding, and the fuel tank, side panel, and rear fender all feature the 'Himalayan' graphics. The bike should roll on wheels that are 21 inches up front and 17 inches down the back. Regarding available colour schemes, interested customers will get a total of three options to choose from. A new colour, Kamet White, will be one of these. Other shades include Hanle Black, Slate Himalayan Salt, Slate Poppy Blue, and Kaza Brown.
In terms of dimensions, the bike will be longer, wider, and taller than the existing 411, with a wheelbase of 1,510mm. Its length, breadth, and height stand at 2,245mm, 852mm (without handguards), and 1,315mm (without the flyscreen), respectively.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 452: Engine Specifications
The Himalayan 452 from Royal Enfield will be propelled by a 452cc liquid-cooled engine. At 8,000rpm, it will belt out 39.57bhp of maximum power and should produce about 40 to 45Nm of peak torque. For transmission duties, a six-speed gearbox will be paired to the motor with a slip-and-assist clutch as standard equipment. As mentioned before, the new Himalayan will have a kerb weight of approximately 196 kg, which would make it much lighter than the Himalayan 411.

Moving on to the features, the bike will sport a brand-new, circular digital instrument panel with mapping capabilities. Speculations are rife that an enhanced version of Tripper Navigation with more sophisticated navigation features is on the way. A dual-channel ABS with an Off-road mode that enables the deactivation of the ABS on the back wheel for increased control in difficult terrain is one of the other features that are likely to be included. For added convenience and safety of the rider, the bike giant is also planning to install a side-stand cut-off switch, all-LED lighting, along with hazard lights. Furthermore, as the Himalayan 452 was spied with both standard spoke wheels and tubeless tyres as well as cross-spoke wheels, the cross-spokes may be available as an accessory from the brand.

On the hardware front, mono-shock and upside-down forks will take care of front and rear suspension duties. Besides this, disc brakes on the front and back will be used for braking.
