On October 8, Royal Enfield posted a few images of the upcoming Himalayan 452 on its social media handles, showing the bike in its production-ready avatar for the first time. And now, here we are with some more details about the latest product. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is expected to make its way to India in late October or early November. Tipping the scales at 196kgs (kerb weight), the Himalayan 452 is lighter than the existing Himalayan by 3kgs. Considering the fact that the 451.65cc liquid-cooled motor churns out 40bhp at 8,000rpm, the power-to-weight ratio is expected to be rated at 201.4bhp/tonne, which is significantly higher than what the current version offers. While the company has not revealed the torque figure yet, industry reports suggest that it will be in the range of 40 to 45Nm. The new liquid-cooled engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
