Royal Enfield debuted at the Rally de Cuencas in Spain, with C.S. Santosh riding a modified Himalayan 450. This is a key step toward their goal of competing in the 2026 Dakar Rally. The Himalayan 450 Rally, still in early development, had a round headlight, a navigation tower, a flat seat with new side panels, and a short tail, but it lacked its full bodywork.

Royal Enfield's goal of entering the Dakar Rally is clear, with the Himalayan 450 as their test platform. The rally in Spain marked an important step in its development. Though still in its early stages, the bike showed promise with key rally components.

It features a round headlight, navigation tower, flat seat with updated side panels, and a short tail. The hardware includes fully adjustable front forks, new triple clamp, spoke wheels with tubed tires, and aftermarket handlebar guards. While engine changes haven't been revealed, the Akrapovic exhaust suggests a performance boost.

Royal Enfield Global Recall

Royal Enfield has issued a global recall for some models due to faulty reflectors that could affect rider visibility in low light.
