Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 India Launch on November 1

This year is going to be merrier for Royal Enfield fans as the automaker will introduce the much-awaited Himalayan 450 to the nation around the festive season on November 1, 2023. The upcoming motorcycle has been seen doing road tests both inside and outside of India on numerous occasions, which has provided a wealth of information regarding its design and other specifications. It is anticipated that the next Himalayan 450 would be the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to have a liquid-cooled engine, even though the power numbers have not been made public. A 450cc engine's larger displacement will modify the bike's exhaust noise. In addition, the forthcoming bike will feature a circular LED headlamp with a tall windscreen, block pattern tyres, a massive fuel tank, LED taillamps, and more as a part of its design.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Engine & Hardware

This new Royal Enfield model will get a 450cc, liquid-cooled engine that is expected to deliver a maximum power of 40bhp and peak torque of 45Nm. For transmission, this motor will employ a 6-speed gearbox, a slipper clutch, and an assist clutch. Hardware-wise, Long-travel, upside-down front forks and an offset mono-shock at the back will make up the suspension system of the Himalayan 450. With the aid of a dual-channel ABS system, one front and one rear disc will execute braking functions. It will roll on 21-inch wheels in front and 17-inch wheels at the back. 

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Design & Features

In contrast to the Himalayan 411, the new Himalayan 450, according to emerging spy shots, embraces an evolutionary design strategy. It will have a streamlined fuel tank with braces, a circular LED headlamp with a tall windscreen, block pattern tyres, wire-spoked wheels up front and back, and more. Further, a new, fully digital instrument panel with Tripper Navigation, strong grab rails, mounting points for touring accessories, LED tail lamps and indicators, split seats, a side-mounted exhaust system, and more will also be included.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Expected Price & Market Competition

The forthcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is expected to carry a price tag that ranges from Rs 2.50 lakh to 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch, the Himalayan 450 will go up against the bikes such as the KTM 390 Adventure, the BMW G 310 GS, and the Yezdi Adventure.
