Indian motorcycle maker Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch the Guerrilla 450 to expand its India line-up. Following the recent leak of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 motorcycle, which took place a few days ago, images of the production-ready bike dressed in a new yellow-and-black suit have surfaced online. Spotted once again on the company's home turf, the Guerrilla 450 is a neo-retro roadster based on the new Himalayan.

The model spotted sports a yellow-coloured fuel tank and tail section, while the remaining elements are finished in black. Last time, the Guerrilla 450 was caught in two colour options – dual-tone red-and-gold and monotone blue. The former had a circular TFT screen, while the latter featured a semi-digital instrument cluster. The upcoming bike has previously revealed a round LED headlamp, a gaitered telescopic front fork, a large fuel tank, a single-piece seat, an integrated tail lamp, a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, 17-inch alloy wheels, and block-pattern Ceat Gripp XL tyres.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will be powered by the same 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the new Himalayan. In the Himalayan ADV, this Sherpa engine generates 39.47bhp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. As for the Guerrilla 450, we expect Royal Enfield to offer the engine in a higher state-of-tune to suit the characteristics of the roadster. Other expected bits include LED illumination, Bluetooth connectivity, and a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Unlike its ADV counterpart, the Guerrilla 450 will likely have a shorter seat height and lower ground clearance. Royal Enfield is expected to offer the upcoming bike in multiple variants, with the top-spec variant using the TFT display. In terms of pricing, the Guerrilla 450 could fall between Rs 2.40 lakh and Rs 2.50 lakh. The prices are ex-showroom.
