As you very well know, Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch six new models in India, with the Guerrilla 450 being the first to arrive. Now, the fresh news for Royal Enfield fans is that the debut date of the Guerrilla 450 is out. The company recently took to its social media handle to announce that the new Royal Enfield Himalayan-based Guerrilla 450 will make its international debut in Barcelona on July 17, 2024.
At the same time, an Instagram reel shows road racing legend Guy Martin riding the Guerrilla 450. The reel, which we have embedded below, came with a caption: 'Last time I was on a Royal Enfield was at Rider Mania in 2014, got the chance to try out their upcoming roadster and it was spot on.'

Based on the official teaser and Instagram video, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 gets a circular LED headlamp, a large fuel tank, a single-piece seat, an integrated tail lamp, and a robust tail section. However, it remains to be seen whether a single-pod instrument cluster will be an LCD unit or a TFT display found on the new Himalayan. Overall, the upcoming Guerrilla 450 appears to have a slim and minimalistic design like the Hunter 350, while also borrowing some styling elements from the new Himalayan.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Hardware
The Guerrilla 450 gets the same twin-spar tubular frame as the new Himalayan. The suspension setup of the 450cc Guerrilla street naked bike comprises a gaitered telescopic front fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. On the other hand, stopping power comes from a disc at both ends. Unlike the Himalayan, the Guerrilla 450 gets alloy wheels (likely to be 17 inchers) with tubeless tyres.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Powertrain
Powering the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. While this engine generates 39.47bhp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm in the Himalayan, expect the Guerrilla 450 to use the engine with a slightly different state-of-tune to suit its characteristics. Other expected bits include LED illumination, Bluetooth connectivity, and a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Since it is under-equipped compared to the new Himalayan (Rs 2.85 lakh–Rs 2.98 lakh), the Guerrilla 450 could fall between Rs 2.40 lakh and Rs 2.50 lakh in terms of pricing. The prices are ex-showroom. In terms of market competition, the Guerrilla 450 will rival the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Honda CB300R, Hero Mavrick 440, Triumph Speed 400, and the KTM 390 Duke.
