Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin Revealed at EICMA 2024

Royal Enfield has unveiled the Classic 650 at EICMA 2024, offering it in four striking colours: Vallum Red, Bruntingthorpe Blue, Teal, and Black Chrome.

Royal Enfield has made a stunning debut at EICMA 2024 with the unveiling of the Classic 650, a motorcycle that blends classic design with modern performance. Based on the Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650 platforms, the Classic 650 will be available in four captivating colours: Teal, Vallum Red, Bruntingthorpe Blue, and Black Chrome. The official pricing has yet to be announced. This classic design features 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, showcasing the brand's iconic history while appealing to seasoned riders and newcomers alike. Weighing in at 243 kg, the Classic 650 is the heaviest model in Royal Enfield's lineup, enhancing its solid feel and overall riding experience.

The motorcycle looks almost identical to the Classic 350, save for multiple components that look bigger and more substantial. The round headlamp with a tiny beak, tiger lamps, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and round fender have all been made to identical to the 350. However, the twin exhaust pipes, wider rear fender, and a bigger fuel tank make it look slightly distinctive. On the feature front, there’s a semi-digital console with a Tripper navigation that looks identical to the unit present on the Classic 350. Other features include a USB charging port, full-LED lighting, adjustable levers, and dual-channel ABS.

At the heart of the Classic 650 Twin lies a robust 648cc parallel-twin engine. This engine delivers a potent 47bhp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3Nm of torque at 5,650 rpm, ensuring a smooth and exhilarating ride. The Classic 650 Twin features a 6-speed gearbox equipped with a slip-and-assist clutch for effortless gear shifts, reducing clutch lever effort and enhancing the overall riding experience.

Royal Enfield will likely showcase the Classic 650 Twin at its upcoming MotoVerse biking festival. Following its grand debut, the motorcycle is expected to hit Indian roads in the near future, captivating riders with its timeless design and modern performance.
