According to reports, the Classic 650 Twin's launch, which was initially planned to happen at Royal Enfield's ongoing Motoverse event, is now postponed to the beginning of next year. For now, the reason for the delay is unknown, but industry sources believe the company is solely focused on the launch of the bobber-styled Goan Classic, which was unveiled during the motorcycle event. The Classic 650 Twin is expected to be positioned between the Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun 650 in the lineup. It will have four eye-catching paint options: Bruntingthorpe Blue, Vallum Red, Black Chrome, and Teal. If you want to learn more about the upcoming Classic 650 twin, read on.

Except for a few parts that seem bigger and sturdier, the motorcycle is very similar to the Classic 350. It has the same teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round fender, tiger lamps, and round headlamp with a tiny beak. However, the dual exhaust pipes, broader rear fender, and larger fuel tank offer an individual look.

The bike boasts a semi-digital console with Tripper navigation (identical to that featured on its smaller sibling), a USB charging socket, full-LED lighting, moveable levers, and dual-channel ABS.

The Classic 650 Twin is propelled by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine that develops 46.4bhp at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm at 5,650rpm, and is connected to a 6-speed transmission with an assist and slipper clutch. The bike's hardware includes a steel tubular spine frame, a Showa front fork (120mm travel), dual shock rear absorbers (90mm travel) and disc brakes (both ends). The motorcycle is equipped with 19-inch (front and 18-inch (rear) wire-spoke wheels.
