Royal Enfield intends to launch a host of new motorcycles in 2024, including the Shotgun 650, and the Hunter 450. It is anticipated that the bike maker will also launch the Royal Enfield Classic 650 to increase the number of 650cc bikes in its inventory, although there is no official word as of yet. According to the most recent test-mule sightings, the Classic 650 is reportedly under development and may reach India by year's end. The spotted test mule has a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, expanded fenders, and circular LED headlamps. The motorcycle also features twin peashooter exhaust pipes, which add to its retro look. Details are currently under wraps, yet it is believed that the bike will use the same chassis as the Super Meteor 650. If it turns out to be accurate, the automaker may provide a few distinctions to lower the price compared to its 650cc sibling. It's too soon to say for sure, but the new Royal Enfield Classic 650 could cost about 3.2 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

Royal Enfield Classic 650: Key Highlights
The Classic 650 is reported to come with a simpler suspension setup, with twin shock absorbers at the back and telescopic forks up front. On the other hand, the Showa-based upside-down forks are found at the front on the Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun 650. The Classic 650's exhaust design is similar to that of the Shotgun 650, but instead of being blacked out, it is coated in chrome.
In addition, while the Super Meteor's and the Classic 650's fenders seem to be similar in style, the former has a different rear number plate housing and taillamp. The upcoming model also sports an LED headlamp assembly with a cowl. Other notable features include tube-style tyres, spoked wheels, pilot lighting with halogen lights, an engine guard akin to the Super Meteor 650, and more.
