Royal Enfield has launched a new paint scheme for its Bullet 350 at Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). Called Battalion Black, the new colour costs almost the same as the Military Red and the Military Black. With the addition of a new option, the Bullet 350 is now available in a total of eight colour options, including Black Gold, Standard Maroon, and Military SilverRed. Other than that, the bike remains the same.
The Bullet 350 uses a 349cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine, which produces 20.2bhp and 27Nm of peak torque using a five-speed transmission. It sits on a double cradle frame, suspended by telescopic front forks and preload-adjustable twin-sided gas-charged rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are taken care of by discs at both ends, along with dual-channel ABS. That said, the base-spec Military versions get a rear drum brake with single-channel ABS, while the higher variants come with a rear disc brake. The motorcycle comes with 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels shod with Ceat-sourced 100- and 120-section tube-type tyres. It has a 13-litre fuel tank and a seat height of 805mm.
