Royal Enfield will launch its much-anticipated scrambler motorcycle – the Bear 650 – on November 5 in India. Compared to the Interceptor 650 it is based on, the Bear 650 has longer suspension travel, a contoured scrambler-styled seat, a two-into-one exhaust, and a kicked-up rear loop. The new bike also has a raised ground clearance for better ride handling off the road. While the scrambler segment in India will see a new entrant in the form of the Royal Enfield Bear 650 next month, Triumph introduced its off-road-oriented Scrambler 400 X in partnership with Bajaj Auto in October 2023. We pit the two scrambler bikes against each other to see what makes them different.
