Revolt Motors has lowered the cost of the RV400 and RV400 BRZ in India by Rs 5,000. The former now costs Rs 1.50 lakh, while the latter is priced at Rs 1.43 lakh. The electric two-wheeler company is providing a further discount of Rs 10,000 for the two motorcycles, dropping the price to Rs 1.40 lakh for the RV400 and Rs 1.33 lakh for the RV400 BRZ. Customers who trade in their existing bikes can receive an additional Rs 5,000 discount. All prices are ex-showroom. Although the duration of these discounts is unknown, the company claimed to lower the price of the bikes to make them more affordable. It has managed to keep the price of the models competitive by optimising the manufacturing costs of batteries and spare parts.

Revolt RV400, RV400 BRZ: Key Highlights

The RV400 and its simpler variant, the BRZ, feature the same 3 kW mid-drive electric motor and 3.24 kWh battery pack, providing 150 kilometres of range per charge. Both motorcycles can charge from 0 to 100% in 4.5 hours. In terms of features, these Revolt electric machines have a digital console, connected technology through the MyRevolt app, and various riding modes. However, the RV400 BRZ, being the simpler version of the RV400, misses out on amenities like smartphone connectivity and keyless ignition.

The motorcycles share the same hardware, with an inverted front fork, an aluminum subframe and swingarm, and a rear monoshock with preload adjustment. The front and rear 240mm disc brakes oversee braking chores, and a combined braking system (CBS) is standard.

In terms of market competition, the bikes rival the likes of the Tork Kratos R, the Svitch CSR762, and the Oben Rorr.
