Bengaluru-nestled Orxa Energies has launched its brand-new Mantis electric motorcycle in India at Rs 3.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Reservations for the electric vehicle have commenced, and the token amount for the initial 1,000 clients is Rs 10,000, whereas the remaining buyers will have to pay Rs 25,000. Since the electric motorbike's debut at India Bike Week in 2019, many changes have been made to the final production model. It is manufactured using a great deal of knowledge from the aerospace and defense industries, claims Orxa. In 2016, the bike made its public debut as a concept called 'Trike'.It underwent a series of engineering trials throughout time, including the use of honeycomb composite materials to shed weight by 2019. The pandemic allowed the firm to continue working on this, resulting in a 25 kg lighter electric bike. Now in a production guise, the bike weighs 182 kg, claiming to be the lightest EV in its segment. It uses an aluminium subframe that adds to its agility. Let's take a comprehensive look at some other features of this bike that compete with the Ultraviolette F77 in India.
