Ola Electric continues to ride a wave of steady sales nearly every month. To expand its presence in the automotive industry, the 2W giant is getting ready to introduce a new electric vehicle in our market. However, images of the upcoming electric scooter have been leaked on the internet prior to the official launch. The company's CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, shared a report about the EV on Twitter. Leaked online reports suggest that the new offering will be called S1X and cost less than Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). Ola introduced its first electric scooter in the country on August 15, 2021, and is now preparing to launch a new product on the same date. Let's wait and see what the brand-new Ola product has to offer prospective buyers.
These images were part of an auto media event we held today and content from this event was supposed to be embargoed and confidential.

Ola's New Electric Vehicle: What We Know So Far?
The reports surfacing online assert that the forthcoming Ola S1X will be built on a cutting-edge platform of the company, which will also bolster future EVs. Further, the upcoming vehicle might share a few components with the S1 Air, such as the steel wheels, telescopic front suspension, and braking system.
It is unclear whether the new EV from the company will include features such as Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. Rumors suggest that the same features available on Ola's other two-wheelers may be included in the EV. The S1X model may have a similar design with a twin-pod headlamp, flat one-piece seat, and wraparound taillight. While there is no official confirmation, reports suggest that the upcoming vehicle may be an affordable entry-level option priced at less than one lakh.
