Ola S1 Pro Gen 1 vs Gen 2: Styling
Compared to the previous model, which has a hump in the middle, the new Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 is built on a significantly modified platform that is lighter and stronger. In addition, the new S1 Pro has dual rear shocks in place of the previous model's single-sided front fork and telescopic front forks, which are also traditional components. The Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 has the same sleek turn signals and dual LED headlamp configuration as the previous model, with the exception of these modifications.
Ola S1 Pro Gen 1 vs Gen 2: Battery Pack
Although the EV maker modified the battery pack to render it more effective and lighter, the new S1 Pro still uses the same 4kWh battery pack as the previous model. A new electric motor that can deliver a maximum power output of 14.7bhp is housed in the Gen 2 S1 Pro. The old electric motor's maximum power, in comparison, stood at 6.7bhp. The new S1 Pro Gen 2 is said to have a range of 195-kilometre, a 0 to 40km/h acceleration time of 2.6 seconds, and a top speed of 120km/h. Meanwhile, the older-generation S1 has a range of 181-kilometre, can sprint from 0 to 40km/h in 2.9 seconds, and is capable of attaining a top speed of 116km/h. Nevertheless, the time required to recharge the battery stays constant at 6.5 hours from 0 to 100 per cent.
Ola S1 Pro Gen 1 vs Gen 2: Feature Set
Since the speakers, party mode and the entire set of connectivity functions are still there in the new S1 Pro compared to the older model, there are no feature changes. From the perspective of the consumer, Ola's TFT display is identical to the older-generation S1 Pro despite changes to how it works with vehicles. Alloy wheels, disc brakes with combination brakes at both ends, full LED lighting, 12-inch wheels with 110/90-section tyres, and more are included as additional features. Due to the updated platform, the boot capacity has decreased by 2 litres, but this is barely noticeable.
