Last February, Ola Electric threw open the order books for its most affordable electric scooter in India, the S1 Air. Deliveries for the electric two-wheeler were scheduled to begin in April this year but were delayed to accommodate the S1 Air's 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh battery packs. And lately, Ola's CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has confirmed on his personal Twitter handle that the company will commence deliveries of the new Ola S1 Air electric scooter by July 2023. Alongside the deliveries, the purchase window and test rides will also be opened in July.
The Ola S1 Air comes in 3 trims and gets 3 battery pack options - 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh. Notably, the speed and range of the scooter vary depending on the variant. Sitting below the Ola S1 in the company's product pyramid, the S1 Air ranges between Rs 84,999 and Rs 1.09 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Bengaluru.
