Earlier this year, Ola released a variety of battery options for its S1 Air and S1 electric scooters. The 2kWh battery variant of the firm's entry-level electric scooters has now been discontinued. The S1 Air will only be offered with the 3kWh battery pack and will cost Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
Earlier this year, Ola Electric released a variety of battery options for its S1 Air and S1 electric scooters. The 2kWh battery variant of the firm's entry-level electric scooters has now been quietly dropped. Following this recent development, the Ola S1 Air will only be offered with the 3kWh battery pack and will now cost Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom) as opposed to its prior starting price of Rs 84,999 (ex-showroom). Similarly, only the 3kWh battery pack is now available with the Ola S1. It appears that the 3kWh battery pack options in Ola's model range had the highest level of demand, therefore making it easier to discontinue offering the other smaller-capacity packs. Buyers who booked the no longer available versions will be straight away upgraded to the available 3kWh options. Additionally, customers have the option to completely cancel their reservations and receive a full refund. Furthermore, Ola will provide customers with an extended battery-alone warranty worth Rs 6,999 when they purchase their next Ola e-scooter.
