Through the company's social media, Ola has revealed that its upcoming electric scooter will be offered with as many as 10 paint options.
With a record 1 lakh pre-orders, Ola’s upcoming electric scooter is already off to a flying start. As we inch closer to the market launch of Ola’s first-ever two-wheeler, the company is teasing us by releasing more details. The latest update came from Ola’s social media, where the company announced that a total of 10 colour options will be on offer with the new scooter. In addition to that, Ola has also announced that its electric scooter will be delivered directly to the customers’ homes across the country.
In the picture above you can see the scooter in a wide range of colour options, including red, blue, yellow, sky blue, navy blue, pink, grey, and more. Expect both metallic and matte finish options for certain shades, especially black and grey.
While Ola hasn’t divulged all the details, its new electric scooter is expected to be called the 'Series S'. That’s because the company has already trademarked the name, along with ‘S1’ and ‘S1 Pro’. The latter two are expected to be the two variants of the scooter.
Although the launch date is not finalized as yet, the Ola e-scooter is expected to go on sale by the end of this month itself. Since Ola has confirmed that it will deliver the scooter directly to buyers, it’s likely that the company has planned to go without a country-wide dealer network.
Ola will produce its new electric scooter at the company’s newly built production unit in Tamil Nadu. The Ola e-scooter will compete with the likes of Ather 450, TVS iQube, and Bajaj Chetak.
