New Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet Launched in India, Price Starts at Rs 2.99 Lakh
Based on the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2, the new SuperStreet version gets a new handlebar assembly for a more relaxed ride experience.

Bangalore-based electric bike manufacturer Ultraviolette has launched the F77 SuperStreet in India, starting at an introductory price of Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model is based on the existing F77 Mach 2 electric sports bike and promises similarly exciting performance. While both versions feature identical designs and mechanical specifications, the SuperStreet offers a more relaxed riding position due to its new handlebar assembly. Key changes include a wider, single-piece handlebar mounted on a riser, using a reworked upper triple-clamp. As a result, the handlebar position is slightly higher, providing a more upright riding posture. For comparison, the F77 Mach 2 is equipped with lower-set clip-on handlebars that create a more aggressive riding position. Ultraviolette claims that the new riding geometry of the SuperStreet offers approximately a 25-degree more upright posture, allowing for a back angle adjustment from about 55 degrees on the Mach 2 to 85 degrees on the SuperStreet.

Most of the other updates in the F77 SuperStreet are software-related, with only a few changes to the riding geometry. The standard version comes with a 7.1kWh battery, while the sportier Recon model packs a bigger 10.3kWh battery, just like the Mach 2. You can expect an IDC-certified range of about 211km for the standard trim and 323km for the Recon. Plus, both versions give you three riding modes: Glide (low performance, high efficiency), Combat (a good balance of performance and efficiency), and Ballistic (high performance, but not super efficient).

Speaking at the launch, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-Founder, Ultraviolette said, "From launching the F77 MACH 2 last year, within a short span of 8 months, we are proud to introduce yet another significant milestone through our intensive R&D - the F77 SuperStreet. The F77 SuperStreet was conceived from the invaluable feedback received from customers and is a true testament to further strengthening our commitment towards them. This motorcycle perfectly combines power, agility, and a futuristic design to deliver an exhilarating riding experience that seamlessly integrates advanced engineering with everyday usability."
The F77 SuperStreet Recon packs a 40.2hp (30kW) output and an impressive 100Nm of torque. It can go from zero to 60km/h in just 2.8 seconds, and it hits 100km/h in another 4.9 seconds, topping out at 155km/h. To handle all that power, it comes with a 4-level traction control system and dual-mode, dual-channel ABS. Plus, there are 10 levels of regenerative braking, which you can easily adjust on the fly using buttons on the left side of the handlebar. It also has Dynamic Stability Control (UV DSC), which helps fine-tune the regenerative braking with the ABS for better control and stability, whether you’re braking gently, actively, or in an emergency. And the Hill Hold feature makes it easy to keep the bike in place without having to constantly hold the brake.

Ultraviolette has rolled out some cool updates to its smartphone app. The latest version now comes with some optional AI features that you can try out, like Delta Watch, Lockdown Mode, Crash Alert, an Anti-Collision Warning System, and Daily Ride Analytics. Delta Watch is like having a watchdog for your bike, letting you know right away if someone tries to mess with it.

You can pick from four colors: Turbo Red, Afterburner Yellow, Stellar White, and Cosmic Black. Bookings for the UV F77 StreetSport kick off on February 1, 2025, and the deliveries should start in March 2025. Ultraviolette also rolled out a bunch of accessories for everyone, including Aero Discs, Tank Grips, Lever Guards, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Puncture Kit, Screen Guard, Top Box, Soft Panniers, Hard Panniers, and a Type 2 Charging Interface called UVLYNK.
