The teaser reveals very little about the new model but, it's expected to be a special edition version of the current TVS Scooty Zest 110.
TVS has released a teaser of a new Scooty that is going to be launched soon. From the looks of things, it appears to be a limited edition version of the currently available Scooty Zest 110. As you can see, the teaser reveals the tail-lamp of the scooter which is sort of identical to the existing Scooty Zest 110.
Another reason why it’s not likely to be brand new scooter is the fact that TVS just only updated the TVS Scooty Zest to meet BS-IV emission norms. Along with that, the firm also added daytime running pilot lamps on the scooter. In its current guise, the Scooty Zest 110 comes powered by a 109.7cc engine that delivers 8bhp and 8.7Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a CVT automatic gearbox and returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 62km/l.
Among some of the other features, the Scooty Zest 110 is kitted out decently for its target audience – mainly teenagers and the fairer sex. The scooter has got 19-litres of under-seat storage, a USB charging port, backlit speedometer, LED tail-lamp, etc. The scooter comes with a fuel tank capacity of 5 litres. The upcoming edition that’s been teased now should retain all of the features of the current model and add some more bells and whistles, we think.
The TVS Scooty Zest 110 carries a price-tag of Rs 46,238 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The upcoming version of the scooter should obviously command some premium over the regular model.
