TVS Motor Company has teased what we believe is the updated Jupiter 110. The shadowy teaser doesn't reveal much, other than a curved LED daytime running light. The Jupiter 110, one of TVS' best-selling scooters, hasn't received many changes since its market introduction in September 2013. To offset that, TVS is expected to give the scooter the much-needed design overhaul.
Therefore, a redesign of the headlamp and the taillamp is very likely. There is also a possibility that the company may introduce fresh colour options for the updated Jupiter 110 to make it more appealing. Visual changes aside, we expect the company to offer the same hardware and mechanical components as before.

New TVS Scooter: Hardware, Mechanicals
Hardware-wise, the new TVS Jupiter 110 will likely use an underbone chassis, suspended by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. Stopping power should come from drum brakes at both ends, with a front disc brake available as an option. Expect these discs to come fitted on 12-inch wheels with 90/90 tyres wrapped around them. As for the engine, a 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled unit with a CVT is most likely to be carried over. In the current version, this engine produces 7.77bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.8Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.
The existing TVS Jupiter 110 comes in 6 variants. Price-wise, it ranges from Rs 73,650 for the Sheet Metal Wheel to Rs 90,573 for the top-spec Jupiter Classic. All prices are ex-showroom.
