TVS Motor Company previously dropped a teaser image of its upcoming scooter. The teaser image showed a curved LED daytime running lamp (DRL), leading us to believe that this is going to be TVS' all-new Jupiter 110. The all-new Jupiter will be the updated version of the Jupiter 110, which has been due for an update for a while. For those unaware, TVS introduced the Jupiter 110 in India in September 2013, alongside the Wego, Scooty Pep Plus, and Streak scooters.
On August 22, 2024, TVS will bring the updated Jupiter 110 to our market. It is expected to give the scooter the much-needed design overhaul. A redesign of the headlamp and the taillamp is very likely, along with the possibility of new colour options to make it more visually appealing. The curved DRL, spoken of earlier, will be mounted to the front apron and be flanked by the turn indicators. Visual changes aside, we expect the company to offer the same hardware and mechanical components as before.

New TVS Jupiter 110: Hardware, Mechanicals
Hardware-wise, the new TVS Jupiter 110 will likely employ an underbone chassis, suspended by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. Stopping power should come from drum brakes at both ends, with a front disc brake available as an option. Expect the scooter to ride on 12-inch wheels with 90/90 tyres wrapped around them. As for the engine, a 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled unit with a CVT is most likely to be carried over from the outgoing version. In the outgoing version, this engine produces 7.77bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.8Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm.
New TVS Jupiter 110: Other Bits
Other expected bits include LED illumination, a digital display with Bluetooth support, a smartphone charger, an external fuel filler cap, and a sizeable boot similar to the Jupiter 125.
The existing TVS Jupiter 110 comes in 6 variants. Price-wise, it ranges from Rs 73,650 for the Sheet Metal Wheel to Rs 90,573 for the top-spec Jupiter Classic. All prices are ex-showroom. Expect the starting price of the updated version to be north of Rs 73,650 (ex-showroom).
