After the RV400 and RV400 BRZ, Revolt Motors is all set to launch its third electric bike in India on September 17, 2024. However, before that, the upcoming bike's features and specifications have surfaced online, giving us an idea of what to expect. The new motorcycle will be called the AW1, according to a leaked presentation. However, the company's existing roster and naming convention suggest it will be called 'RV1', as indicated by the 'Are We One teaser' on the site. Design-wise, Revolt's new bike will have a street-style design with a neo-retro flair, including a commuter-like subframe, round headlamps with circular LED DRLs, side-body panels similar to the RV400, and a long seat. There will also be a mountable grab rail, leg guard, and headlight visor. For more details on Revolt's third e-bike, read on.

Revolt AW1/RV1: Engine and Hardware
The bike will be available in two variants: the V1 and the V2, based on leaked specifications. The first one will feature a 2.2 kWh battery and a range of above 100 kilometres on a single charge, while the other will have a larger 3.24 kWh battery with a longer range of 150 kilometres. However, both variants will most likely include a single mid-mounted 2kW (2.682bhp) electric motor with a reverse function.
In terms of hardware, the bike includes twin shock absorbers and RSU telescopic front forks, which set it apart from its sibling, the RV400. It also forgoes belt drive in favour of a chain-drive configuration. A center stand is offered as an accessory as chain drives require regular maintenance.
Revolt AW1/RV1: Features
The upcoming electric motorcycle is expected to include newly styled alloy wheels, three riding modes, OTA updates, turn-by-turn navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity. Revolt may also offer new colour options for its third e-bike.

Revolt AW1/RV1: Expected Price
The Revolt RV400 BRZ is currently the most affordable model in the portfolio, priced at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom). Leaked information suggests that the new bike is a lower-spec variant than the RV400, which could lead it to be priced at less than Rs 1 lakh and undercut the Ola Roadster X, which starts at Rs 75,000.
