A test mule of the next-generation KTM 390 Adventure has been spotted internationally. The test bike looked to be near-production-ready and seemed to have revised styling, a muscular-looking chassis with increased suspension travel, and a new LC4c single-cylinder engine. The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure is an off-road-ready cousin of the KTM 390 Duke, featuring wired-spoke rims (21-inch front and 18-inch rear) shod with coarse tyres, a front visor, side fairings, a dual LED headlamp setup with inverted horseshoe-shaped LED daytime running lights, a single-piece saddle with a new rear sub-frame, split grab handles, twin-pod LED tail-lamps, and brawny knuckle guards. The bike will feature the same instrument cluster as the new-generation 390 Duke.

New KTM 390 Adventure: Engine

Powering the next-generation KTM 390 Adventure is the 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, making the same 45bhp and 40Nm of peak torque, which also does duty in the KTM 390 Duke. Transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed unit. The new model will make its global debut sometime in 2024 and will go on sale in early 2025.

KTM 1390 Super Duke R Gets Upgraded Performance, Ergonomics and Suspension

Not so long ago, KTM took the wraps off the 1390 Super Duke R for the international market. Unveiled alongside the 1390 Super Duke R Evo, the standard Super Duke gets the same headlight design as the 990 Duke.

Both motorcycles are powered by a 1350cc LC8 V-Twin engine, which produces an incredible 187bhp at 10,000rpm and 145Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. This increase in power was achieved by maintaining the previous stroke of 71mm and upsizing the bore from 108mm to 110mm.
