The new Kawasaki ZX-6R made its debut recently at the India Bike Week in Goa. It is a middleweight supersport with a 17-litre fuel tank, split seats, a full fairing, sharp mirrors, an aerodynamic windscreen, a clip-on handlebar, and twin LED headlamps as part of its design. It was shown to the masses at the event following the introduction of the much-anticipated W175 Street, which went on sale for Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The W175 Street is mechanically similar to the regular model, featuring the 177cc air-cooled motor with fuel injection, which produces 12.8bhp and 13.2Nm. However, it distinguishes itself with its unique tank artwork, Candy Emerald Green and Metallic Moondust Grey paint jobs, 17-inch alloy wheels, and tubeless tyres.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has just been unveiled in India, but its prices are yet to be announced. Although the Japanese manufacturer has not verified anything, market speculation suggests that the newly announced ZX-6R will be available in the country in the first half of 2024.
