Kawasaki, the Japanese bikemaker, brought back the Eliminator moniker with a 399cc engine, which was only sold in Japan, and recently, the firm also launched a new 451cc mill, which will be sold in other foreign countries and possibly even in India. The brand-new bike will be offered in two variants in the US market – Standard and SE ABS. The Standard model carries a price tag of $6,649 (Rs 5.48 lakh). According to the manufacturer, the Eliminator is a stylish yet cost-effective cruiser, which is sure to draw riders seeking a pleasant and captivating ride. As far as the market competition is concerned, the bike is set to rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and Honda Rebel 500. New Kawasaki Eliminator: Variants
As mentioned before, there are two variants of the Eliminator available – Standard and SE. They are both mechanically similar to one another. In addition to what the standard version offers, the SE variant gets dual-tone paint, fork gaiters, a USB type-C charger, and a small flyscreen.

The Eliminator's design combines aspects of the cruiser with a blacked-out neo-retro aesthetic. Compared to the bigger Vulcan S, it sports a more appealing look with a raked-up front end. Despite having contemporary foundations, the dual shock absorbers maintain the cruiser configuration.
New Kawasaki Eliminator: Features
The Eliminator gets an extensive list of features, including a full LED lighting system, a USB type-C charger (only on the SE edition), a slip-and-assist clutch, and a digital display with Bluetooth connectivity. The Eliminator's top-spec SE edition has front and rear cameras, which function as dash cams and can provide the rider with tangible proof in the event of an accident. Moreover, the SE version also includes fork gaiters and a small bikini fairing.
New Kawasaki Eliminator: Mechanical Specs
The 399cc mill from the Ninja 400 was used as the basis for the bigger 451cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine by extending its stroke. According to Kawasaki, this unit will enhance the mid- and low-range power delivery (similar to other small-capacity parallel twins), making it suitable for more laid-back riders.

New Kawasaki Eliminator: Will it Come to India?
Initially regarded as an expensive high-end product in India upon debut, the Kawasaki Eliminator 175 gradually gained popularity. This model was primarily what made the Bajaj Avenger successful. However, Kawasaki has not yet confirmed if the Eliminator arrive in India. If the bike arrives in our market, it will face competition from the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and Benelli 502C.
