Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced a brand-new dual-tone Jawa 42 variant alongside an upgraded Yezdi Roadster for India. The dual-tone model of the Jawa 42 is up for grabs at Rs 1.98, while the new Yezdi Roadster retails at Rs 2.09 lakh. Both are ex-showroom prices. These motorbikes will be offered for purchase alongside the current 42 and the Roadster variants, which cost Rs 1.89 lakh and Rs 2.06 lakh, respectively (all prices, ex-showroom). Although both motorcycles have undergone cosmetic and ergonomic upgrades, their engines have remained the same.
The new Jawa 42 model still features the 294.7cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with 26.9bhp, and 26.8Nm, and a 6-speed gearbox. Similarly, its Roadster counterpart continues to use the 334cc single-cylinder motor that produces 29bhp and 28.9Nm. Let's take a closer glance at these fresh versions of the motorcycles.

Jawa 42 Dual Tone Variant: Key Updates
The automaker has made bodywork changes to the new Jawa 42. The bike comes with a fuel tank that is comparable to the Jawa 42 Bobber and also has a flat section close to the user's thighs. Further, the rear fender has undergone a change with indicators now placed underneath the brake light on a plastic housing. The license plate is also housed in this housing.
The seat configuration is also different, and bar-end rearview mirrors have been exchanged in favour of traditional versions. The motorcycle also has improved Raven texture finishes on the engine and exhausts. Additionally, it gets new alloy wheels with diamond cuts. As for the paintwork, the recently introduced variant of the Jawa 42 comes with four dual-tone colour choices- Starship Blue, Cosmic Rock, Infinity Black, and Celestial Copper.

New Yezdi Roadster: Main Highlights
The manufacturer has revised the bike's riding position and now it has a taller handlebar and footpegs that are set forward by 155mm. Diamond-cut alloy wheels, a sportier-looking knee recess, and a Raven texture treatment on the engine and exhaust are among other visual upgrades on the Yezdi Roadster. The bike also has fresh handlebar grips, handlebar-mounted mirrors, and a redesigned exhaust. Aside from this, a total of four paint options—dual-tone Rush Hour Red, dual-tone Forest Green, dual-tone Lunar White, and a single-tone Shadow Grey—are offered for the new Yezdi Roadster motorcycle.
