Jawa has launched the new 350 in the Indian market, priced at Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest version replaces the Jawa Classic in the company's India line-up, and receives significant updates over the previous model. The biggest update comes in the form of a new 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 22.2bhp at 7,000rpm and 28.1Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. In comparison, the earlier 293cc engine produced 27bhp of power and 27Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the transmission duties of the new Jawa 350 are taken care of by a 6-speed unit, along with an assist and slipper clutch.
In terms of hardware, the updated Jawa 350 features a new dual-cradle chassis, suspended by a 35mm telescopic fork (135mm wheel travel) and pre-load adjustable twin shock absorbers (100mm wheel travel). As for its braking responsibilities, the motorcycle uses a 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS (standard).

New Jawa 350: Brakes, Wheels, Tyres
On the other hand, the former version had a 280mm front disc and a 153mm rear drum brake, with single-channel ABS. The refreshed Jawa 350 now rolls on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels, wrapped in 100-section front and 130-section rear tube-type tyres.
New Jawa 350: Dimensions, Weight
Tipping the scales at 194 kilograms, the new Jawa 350 is 1 kilogram lighter than the Royal Enfield Classic 350. In terms of dimensions, the bike has a fuel tank capacity of 13.2 litres, while the ground clearance and seat height stand at 178mm and 802mm, respectively. Even the wheelbase of the bike has been upgraded and is rated at 1,449mm.
New Jawa 350: Design, Features
Design-wise, the new Jawa 350 gets a new Mystique Orange colour, along with beefier tyres, prominent front fenders, and a revised saddle. Other colour options remain the same: Maroon and Black. The design is complemented by an analogue instrument cluster.

New Jawa 350: Price, Rivals
Offered at Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Jawa 350 rivals the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the Benelli Imperiale 400, and the Honda H'ness CB350. As of now, the Jawa line-up consists of the Jawa 350, Jawa 42, Jawa 42 Bobber and Jawa Perak.
