Hero MotoCorp is set to unveil its new XPulse adventure bike at EICMA 2024. The bike will feature a powerful 210cc liquid-cooled engine, borrowed from the Karizma XMR. This upgrade is expected to make the XPulse more suitable for long-distance touring and off-road adventures. In addition, Royal Enfield will also debut its first electric motorcycle at EICMA 2024. This marks a significant step for the Indian manufacturer as it enters the growing electric motorcycle market.
New Hero Xpulse: What to Expect?
Hero may also introduce optional features like adjustable suspension and a rally kit. Braking will be handled by single disc brakes at both ends, with dual-channel ABS. Given the bike’s off-road nature, the new Xpulse is expected to include switchable rear ABS or an off-road ABS mode. The 2024 Xpulse could feature a fully-digital instrument panel, including Bluetooth connectivity and app-based turn-by-turn navigation. The addition of ride modes could further enhance its versatility.

The 2025 Hero Xpulse will likely feature the new 210cc liquid-cooled engine, first seen in the Karizma XMR last year. This engine produces 25.15bhp and 20.4Nm of peak torque, along with a six-speed gearbox, offering a significant upgrade over the Xpulse 200 4V’s 19 bhp and 17.35 Nm.

Although there have been rumours of a 440cc version of the Xpulse, similar to the Harley-Davidson X440 and Hero Mavrick, this seems unlikely due to the high development costs. More details about the 2024 Xpulse will be revealed at EICMA 2024, where it is expected to make its debut.
