Bajaj Auto will announce the prices for the new Pulsar N250 in India tomorrow. The updated version may include visual and feature upgrades, while the engine is expected to remain the same. Based on previous teasers and spy images, the motorcycle is likely to sport a vibrant red colour scheme, an upside-down front fork, and a digital dash with a Bluetooth connection. It might also include improved switchgear, traction control, ABS modes, and 17-inch wheels, among other noteworthy features. With all these improvements, the Bajaj Pulsar N250 of 2024 is expected to command a significant premium over the current model, which carries a price tag of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Pulsar N250 will rival the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, the Honda Hornet 2.0, the KTM 250 Duke, and the Yamaha Gixxer 250.
Bajaj Pulsar N250: Mechanical Changes
The updated Pulsar N250 will continue to use the 249cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine. The motor generates 24.1bhp and 21.5Nm with a 5-speed transmission and slip and assist clutch. In terms of cycle parts, the motorcycle is expected to feature certain changes, including upside-down front forks. In contrast to the current model's traditional components, the new model will likely have petal-type disc brakes. The rear tyre of the bike is speculated to be a little wider for more stability and traction. However, more details on this subject will be revealed at the launch.
Bajaj Pulsar N250: Design
Bajaj is unlikely to significantly change the design of the N250. The reworked bike's front end will probably maintain its wolf-eyed character, with dual LED DRLs on both sides of the main LED headlamp. The bike is also anticipated to retain its angular rear section, grip rails, and split seating.
