New Bajaj Pulsar 220F Price Leaked Before Its Launch in India
The new Bajaj Pulsar 220F is reportedly set to make a comeback in the country at the price of Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The units have started arriving at dealerships, and the delivers are expected to begin soon.
After going out of production last year, the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is all set to be brought back into the Indian market soon. If we go by the promotional social media post of a dealer in West Bengal, the new 220F will be relaunched at the price of Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom). However, no official announcement has been made as of yet. Bajaj Auto silently discontinued its production as the Pulsar 220 was stocked-out, making way for the launch of the new Pulsar N250 and the Pulsar F250. Nevertheless, the new Bajaj Pulsar 220F will be relaunched soon, presumably with Black-Red and Black-Blue colour combinations. Bookings for the Pulsar 220F have been opened pan-India.
The units of the popular 220F have begun to arrive at dealerships, with deliveries likely to start in the next few weeks. Possibly with its same half-faired design, the Bajaj Pulsar will receive little to no modifications. The 2023 bike will come with a huge front fascia, a 15-litre fuel tank, clip-on handlebars, and a split-type seat.

Feature-wise, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F will retain an LED projector headlamp, LED tail lamp, alloy wheels, and a semi-digital instrument console. Powered by a 220cc BS6-compliant engine, the new bike will generate 20.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 18.5Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. Its single-cylinder DTS-i engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox. But, it is yet to receive OBD II (On-board Diagnostic) technology to monitor real-time emission details.
As far as its hardware setup is concerned, the Pulsar 220F will be equipped with a Double Cradle Down Tube frame, suspended on a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. For enhanced safety, the bike has disc brakes at both ends with a single-channel ABS as standard.

After its launch in 2007, the Bajaj Pulsar 220 has managed to bring in best-in-class sales numbers. Apart from two dual-tone colour options, the new 220F may be available in other shades as well.
