Ducati is all set to expand the DRE event portfolio in India with multiple events planned for the latter half of 2019.
Ducati India is in no mood to leave any stone unturned when it comes to contributing to the ever-growing community of Ducati motorcycle owners in the country. And what better way to get folks involved with their machines than to organise events & rides, which provide an ideal proving ground for both them, as well as their machines.
While the now-familiar Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) has received an overwhelming response in India, Ducati India is all set to expand the event count for this year, as it has announced multiple DRE events that are due to take place in the second half of 2019. Not too long ago, in March 2019, Ducati added a hint of authenticity to the DRE programme here as it announced the ‘Do-It-Yourself – Ducati Discoveries Experience’ exclusively in India in partnership with Infinity Resorts. As hinted by the name, this riding experience offers custom-made Dream Tour expeditions.
Here's a rough timetable of the DRE events set to take place in the coming months:
Event | Month |
DRE Safety | July 2019 |
DRE Dream Tour - Spiti | August 2019 |
DRE Individual Racetrack Training | August 2019 |
DRE Off-Road Days | August 2019 |
DRE Track Days | September 2019 |
Ducati India Race Cup | October 2019 |
In the above-mentioned events, new in the mix is the DRE Safety program – a learning course aimed at providing amateur (and expert) riders with the necessary knowledge of safety measures & practical preparation steps for safe riding. This program will also offer tailored courses, depending on the rider's experience.
Sharing his thoughts on the list of exciting DRE events charted out for 2019, Sergi Canovas, MD of Ducati India, said, ‘We brought the global DRE program in India to provide an unparalleled level of experience in accordance to the passion and interests of a motorcycle enthusiast. 2018 has been very successful for Ducati with some great riding and learning courses, and we look forward to providing more unique experiences this year in every riding genre and engage more with the Ducatisti community in India. These activities enable riders to learn from the best instructors, further enhancing their love and passion for riding a Ducati.'
