Ducati and Italian apparel brand Diesel have collaborated to give us a limited edition Diavel Diesel which has been launched in India.
At the Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2017, Ducati revealed a new version of the Diavel sports cruiser motorcycle called the Ducati Diavel Diesel. The Italian motorcycle manufacturer has collaborated with Italian apparel company – Diesel to design the Diavel Diesel of which only 666 units will be produced.
The bike was designed and developed between the Ducati Design Center and Andrea Rosso, Diesel Licensing Creative Director.
The Italians know how to add flare and can paint a picture with words like no one else. The company says the Diavel Diesel was inspired by the “energetic dynamism of a post-apocalyptic future.” And by that what they mean is that the Diavel, which as a stand-alone product that looks menacing, the Diavel Diesel looks more industrial with rivets and exposed welds on a hand-brushed stainless steel superstructure. These details can be found on the tank cover, front cowl the passenger saddle. The saddle itself is made from real leather.
The lateral air intake covers, feature a red methacrylate with the Diesel logo. The exhaust system has a black Zircotec ceramic coating and black silencers with ends machined from solid blocks. At the heart of the bike is Ducati’s Testastretta V-Twin engine which develops 159bhp and also gets the Ducati Safety Pack (ABS and Ducati Traction Control) with riding modes.
While Diesel Ducati limited edition merchandise will hit Diesel stores worldwide in the summer of 2017, The Ducati Diavel Diesel is ready for orders at Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Ahmedabad. The bike is priced at Rs. 19,92,000 ex-showroom Delhi while deliveries will begin in August 2017.
