Austrian two-wheel manufacturer KTM is gearing up to launch the latest iteration of RC 390 in India.
KTM unveiled the 2015 RC 390 at the EICMA Motor Show in Milan in November and if the reports are to be believed, the bike will be heading to our shores very soon.
The RC 390 gets minor changes to its design in form of revised mirrors, larger disc and an all-new side mounted aluminium exhaust system. The front brakes and clutch levers are now adjustable, while the addition of a new sports slipper clutch allows for quicker downshifts.
But perhaps the biggest introduction to the new RC 390 is the ride-by-wire technology that results in smoother and refined power delivery.
As for the engine, the KTM RC 390 retains its 373.2cc liquid cooled, single cylinder, 4-stroke motor that produces 43 bhp and 35 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Bajaj owns 47% stake in KTM and manufactures the RC 390 at its facility in Chakan, Pune. The company is eager to bring the bike to Indian roads, after the success of its previous model, which was launched in September 2014.
