The RC200 gets the same black colour as its bigger sibling.
The KTM RC200 is now available in a new black colour scheme. The new colour comes with KTM’s characteristic contrasting orange and white livery with orange alloy wheels. The same colour option is also offered on the bigger RC390.
The RC200 continues to be powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder engine that pumps a segment leading 25bhp of max power and 19Nm of peak torque. The motor is also liquid-cooled and fuel injected. A 6-speed gearbox comes standard.
At the RC200’s core lies a steel trellis frame. The bikes sports an aluminium swingarm and premium features like upside down front forks. Stopping power on the KTM RC200 is provided by a 300mm front disc with four-pot brake caliper and 230mm rear disc with one-pot brake caliper. Sadly, ABS still isn’t offered.
The RC200 continues to be one of the most aggressive track biased sport motorcycles you can buy in India this side of ₹2 lakh. The bikes continues to retail at ₹1.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for both black and white colour options.
Recently, KTM officially announced the launch of its 390 Adventure in India next year. The Adventure will be the third series of bikes to be launched by the Austrian bikemaker, the other two being RC and Duke - both of which have enjoyed reasonable success in India.
