KTM has revealed its ''Ultimate Supermoto Tourer'' - the 890 SMT, for the international market. In the company's SMT lineup, the recently showcased motorcycle will be the second model after the 990 SMT, which was launched in 2009 and later discontinued in 2013. The 890 SMT, like the previous 990 SMT, contains elements from both the Adventure and Duke motorcycles. Mechanically speaking, the new motorcycle has an adjusted 889cc, LC8c parallel twin, liquid-cooled engine, which produces 104bhp at 8,000rpm and 100Nm at 6,500rpm. The 890 SMT weighs 194 kg, which is 6 kg less than the 890 Adventure, and it holds 4.6 litres less fuel at 15.8 kg than the Adventure. According to market reports, the new motorcycle will be accessible at KTM dealerships in the international market from this month. The 2023 model will not be offered in North America. For India, there is no exact update on the launch. However, several industry reports hint that KTM is unlikely to bring the model to our market anytime soon.
