The KTM 250 Adventure gets a price cut of Rs 25,000 and now retails for a price that's lower than its introductory price.
Earlier this month, we reported a substantial price hike on KTM and Husqvarna products. You can read about the revised price list by clicking here. In a recent update, a circular sent from Bajaj Auto to its KTM dealership network suggests that the company has substantially reduced the price of its KTM 250 Adventure.
The ex-showroom cost of the 250 Adventure has been brought down from Rs 2,54,995 to Rs 2,30,003. The KTM 250 Adventure has seen a price cut of (almost) Rs 25,000. However, this price cut is temporary, and the new prices for KTM 250 Adventure will be in effect from September 1, 2021. Interestingly, the current price of the 250 Adventure is lower than its introductory price of Rs 2.48 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
The 250 Adventure costs only Rs 1,270 more than the 250 Duke. The price reduction is likely to encourage the KTM 200 Duke, RC200, and 250 Duke buyers towards the quarter-litre adventure motorcycle.
The KTM 250 Adventure is the third 250cc motorcycle to receive a price cut. Earlier, Yamaha India substantially reduced the prices of the FZ 25 and FZS 25. Yamaha was followed by Bajaj, as the latter reduced the price of the Dominar 250.
