KTM 125 Enduro R Globally Revealed; Gets Bikini Fairing, Flat Seat and More

KTM has officially unveiled the 125 Enduro R globally, introducing a highly anticipated entry into the off-road segment. The new model brings a refreshed design, featuring a bold bikini fairing that enhances its aggressive look while improving aerodynamics. The bike is also equipped with a flat seat for better comfort and control during rugged rides, ensuring a more stable and agile performance. Built to tackle tough terrains, the KTM 125 Enduro R comes with enhanced suspension and off-road-specific features. With its powerful engine and robust build, the 125 Enduro R is set to offer an exciting experience for enthusiasts looking for a versatile and capable off-road motorcycle. The bike promises to deliver top-tier performance and durability for both amateur and seasoned riders.

The bodywork is intentionally simple, consisting mainly of the basic elements. The bike boasts a flat, single-piece seat, footpegs with two adjustable positions, and an ergonomic layout based on the KTM 690 Enduro R.
KTM 125 Enduro R: Engine Details
Coming to the mechanical side of things, the 125 Enduro R is propelled by a 125cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which delivers 14.8bhp of maximum power and 11.5Nm of peak torque.
The motor, derived from the current Duke models, has been revised with several notable modifications such as adjustments to the airbox, a 2kg reduction in exhaust weight, a redesigned cylinder head, relocated fuel injectors, and a redesigned cylinder head. This engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.
KTM 125 Enduro R: Hardware and Features
The KTM 125 Enduro R is built around a steel trellis frame, supported by WP suspension components: 43mm upside-down forks at the front and a WP APEX Split Piston monoshock at the rear, both offering 230mm of travel. It is equipped with Bybre disc brakes at both ends, with dual-piston callipers at the front and a single-piston calliper at the rear. The front wheel measures 21 inches, while the rear one is 18 inches, both fitted with Metzeler Karoo 5 tyres, sized 90/90 in the front and 140/80 in the rear.
On the feature front, the bike comes with 4.2-inch coloured TFT screen with Bluetooth functionality for accessing music, calls, and navigation. The TFT dash also provides information related to gear position, speed, and fuel level. Other features come in the form of a USB-C port for charging devices, a switchable dual-channel ABS system, ride modes, knuckle guards, and LED lighting.

Although the 125 Duke is sold in India, it is improbable that KTM will offer the 125 Enduro R here due to its high cost.
