With the nation's electric two-wheeler market expanding rapidly, the classic Kinetic Luna is making a comeback—this time in an electric form. The electric moped, called the e-Luna, will be rolled out by Kinetic Green, the manufacturer of electric vehicles, next month. The firm has confirmed via a press release that the reservations for the e-Luna will commence tomorrow on Republic Day. Prospective buyers can reserve an e-Luna on the company's website for a token amount of Rs 500. From the 1970s through the beginning of the 2000s, the original Luna was a well-liked two-wheeler in India. It was a popular choice among people due to its affordable price, fuel efficiency, and straightforward design.

Kinetic E-Luna: Design
As mentioned before, the practical bodywork of the previous model will be carried over into the upcoming E-Luna. The scooter's design is straightforward, and it has a split seat, a square headlight, and a storage area next to the spine. Additionally, we are aware that the E-Luna may receive an LCD cluster based on the previously released image. However, the details regarding the motor and batteries are unknown.
Kinetic E-Luna: Expected Mechanical Specifications
Although the company has not disclosed precise information regarding the E-Luna's battery and range, it asserts that the model will benefit small enterprises as well as individual consumers seeking to meet their personal mobility needs. The electric Luna is anticipated to have a range of about 70 to 75-kilometre on a single charge. Though all the details before the official launch is merely guesswork, the e-Luna will likely utilise a 2kWh battery pack with a maximum speed limited to 60km/h.
Kinetic E-Luna: Hardware Components
The hardware, which consists of dual rear springs and telescopic front forks, appears to be relatively simple. Drum brakes on both ends will be in charge of the braking. The E-Luna's price will probably be on the lower end of the affordable range because it will be focused on last-mile delivery. Kinetic will serve Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in addition to metro areas and Tier 1 cities.
