Japanese two-wheeler giant Kawasaki is bringing the Ninja ZX-4RR supersport to the Indian market, and it has given us a sneak peek at what to expect from the upcoming supersport bike. This teaser, focusing on the front fascia, promises an aggressive design for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR. The bike's twin LED headlight setup with RAM air intake, as well as sporty-looking front fairing and angular, raked tail section are along the lines of the ZX-25R. While the global-spec Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR comes in two liveries: Metallic Spark Black and KRT Edition, there is a possibility that India may get the latter, as seen in the teaser.
The Ninja ZX-4RR, undoubtedly, is a premium offering from Kawasaki, but the KRT Edition featuring a dual-tone Lime Green-and-Ebony colour scheme is the more premium version of the ZX-4RR. Being a completely built-up unit, the sportsbike will be imported to our market in limited numbers. We expect the upcoming sportsbike to fall in the price bracket of Rs 9–Rs 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom, India), about Rs 50,000–Rs 1 lakh more than the Ninja ZX-4R.

Hardware-wise, the Ninja ZX-4RR uses a WorldSBK-inspired steel trellis frame which is suspended by 37mm inverted Showa separate-functioning forks with preload adjustability at the front and horizontal back-link Showa mono-shock at the rear. The rear suspension can be adjusted for rebound, compression, and preload. The braking setup comprises 290mm dual discs at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear, accompanied by dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). The disc brakes come mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR: Engine, Output
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR draws power from the familiar 399cc, inline four-cylinder engine which cranks out 37.6Nm of peak torque at 13,000rpm and 74bhp at 14,500rpm. This liquid-cooled engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox, assisted by a bi-directional quickshifter and slipper clutch. Even the kerb weight (89kg), seat height (800mm), and ground clearance (135mm) stay the same as the Ninja ZX-4R.
