Other Developments

While Kawasaki India is yet to confirm the launch date of the bike, several industry reports indicate that the Japanese manufacturer will launch the new Versys-X 300 here in October, during the festive season. To maintain competitive pricing, the Japanese bikemaker is also likely to get many of its bike parts, such as body panels and tyres, from local suppliers. For the uninitiated, the motorcycle was on sale in India before the implementation of the BS6 norms in 2020. In terms of features, the bike could get dual-channel ABS and a standard semi-digital display. It is also expected to have a lofty stance and masculine front design, with elements like a tubular handlebar, a halogen headlamp, a glass visor, and a contoured single-piece seat. According to the previous spy images, a hard-case pannier setup could be offered as an option.
