The Kawasaki KLX 150BF is an off-road bike but complies with all applicable road laws – it has got a number plate holder, mirrors, turn indicators, a headlight, and a taillight.
Kawasaki India is contemplating the launch of the KLX 150BF in India. For those unaware, the motorcycle was shown at IBW 2022. The motorcycle is equipped with a 144cc four-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine, which produces a power output of 11.36bhp and 11.3Nm of maximum torque and is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Kawasaki KLX 150BF is an off-road-ready motorcycle, including a small headlight cowl, a high-mount front fender, a 7.0-litre fuel tank, a seat, and a short tail. Petal-shaped discs are in charge of braking, both at the front and the rear. The bike comes with long-travel USD front forks and a mono-shock and has wire-spoke wheels with knobby tyres – a 21-inch unit at the front and an 18-inch tyre at the rear.
The Kawasaki KLX 150BF is presently sold overseas and in the Philippines, where it costs PHP 132,400 (₹1.93 lakh approx). The price of the bike, however, may exceed ₹2 lakh when launched in the Indian market.
