Kawasaki Celebrates 50 Years with Z900RS SE Special Edition in Germany

The Kawasaki Z900RS SE Anniversary Edition is priced at EUR 15,695 (around Rs 14.02 lakh). It honours the brand’s 50 years of operation in the German market.

Kawasaki is a well-known name in the motorcycle industry, with a strong presence in different markets, including India. Its diverse lineup—including off-road models— is renowned for its powerful performance and rugged off-road capabilities. Notably, Kawasaki has completed its 50 years of operation in Germany, and to mark this milestone, the brand has introduced the Z900RS SE anniversary model at EUR 15,695 (around Rs 14.02 lakh). This limited-edition model carries a premium of approximately Rs 54,000 compared to the regular version. Built on the premium SE variant, this model is a tribute to Kawasaki’s 50 years of success and innovation in the German market, reflecting the brand's rich legacy and dedication to forward-thinking design. Kawasaki Z900RS SE 50th Anniversary Edition: What’s Different?

Like all anniversary editions, the Kawasaki Z900RS SE stands out from the standard model with a host of distinctive features, including the '50 Years of Kawasaki Germany' logo on the fuel tank. With only 150 units being produced, each motorcycle is individually numbered from 1 to 150, allowing buyers to choose their preferred number.

In addition to this, the bike is adorned with exclusive anniversary markings on the handlebar mount and side covers, emphasizing its limited-edition status. The custom seat, designed with a diamond pattern and gold-coloured stitching, adds a touch of luxury. Moreover, the gold-anodised bar end weights, heel guards, and radiator side panels amplify the bike’s unique and high-end design.

Kawasaki Z900RS: Key Specifics

The India-spec Kawasaki Z900RS is priced at Rs 16.80 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by a 948cc inline four-cylinder engine, derived from the Z900, delivering 109.96bhp at 8,500rpm and 98.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. In terms of suspension, it features 41mm upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. For braking, the bike is equipped with dual 300mm discs at the front and a single 250mm disc at the rear, complemented by dual-channel ABS.

The Kawasaki Z900RS is only available in Metallic Diablo Black colour in India. It competes with the Triumph Speed Twin 900.
