Kabira Mobility, a Goa-based EV start-up, has pulled the wraps off the KM5000 electric bike for the Indian market. According to the manufacturer, it is touted as the country's fastest and longest-riding electric bike. Powered by an 11.6kWh battery back, the electric vehicle is said to have a top speed of 188km/h and a range of 344 kilometre on a single charge. In terms of design, it comes with a single-sided swingarm that gives it a distinct identity. When launched in the country, it will be priced Rs 3.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Goa) onwards. The launch of the KM500 is slated to take place by Fall 2023, and deliveries will begin next year. Interested buyers can choose from 3 different colour options - Midnight Grey, Deep Khaki, and Aquamarine. In addition, the bike will also offer a range of customisation options to personalise the riding experience.

Kabira Mobility KM5000: Features
The electric bike comes with a host of features such as LED headlamps at front and rear, turn indicators, daytime running lights, a 7.0-inch digital console with 4G connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, music control, park assist, a tyre pressuring monitoring system, fast charging, fall sensors, elevation stabilizer, etc.

The KM5000 is claimed to be India's fastest and longest-riding electric bike, capable of reaching a top speed of 188km/h. It uses an 11.6kWh water-cooled LFP battery pack, which is one of the largest battery packs in an electric two-wheeler, and it yields a claimed range of 344 kilometre on a single charge.
The battery is claimed to be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in under 2 hours, using a high-speed boost charger. On offer is also a standard charger that allows you to charge your vehicle overnight.
Kabira Mobility KM5000: Suspension, Braking
The suspension setup of the KM5000 electric consists of Showa upside-down forks at the front and a Nitrox mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by twin discs up front and a single rear disc with dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).

Several other models of Kabira Mobility are in the offing that includes the Pro variants of KM3000, KM4000, and KM2000. As of now, the EV start-up only sells the KM3000 and the KM4000.
