Also took the wraps off the Indian Roadmaster Elite and Springfield Dark Horse
Indian Motorcycles has just revealed its 2018 range of products. The updated range includes the recently unveiled Scout Bobber and two other new offerings as well – the Roadmaster Elite and the Springfield Dark Horse.
Production of the ultra-premium Indian Roadmaster Elite will be limited to just 250 units. Finished in what the company calls, ‘cobalt candy’ and black, the Roadmaster Elite is hand painted. The tank has special 23 karat gold leaf badges. The motorcycle comes with a lot of features like the ride command system, pillion arm rests, 300-watt premium audio system, aluminium floor board for the rider and the passenger and more.
Like most other models launched by Indian Motorcycle, the Springfield also gets the Dark Horse treatment. The Springfield Dark Horse, like its namesakes, is draped in matte black paint scheme. The Springfield Dark Horse loses the large fender up front and has instead been fitted with an open one. The Dark Horse also comes with a blacked out 19-inch front wheel.
Meanwhile, Indian Motorcycles will also add the Chieftain Classic to the Chieftain range. The updated version will continue to sport the iconic fender that covers the front wheel, leather seat with fringes, and will also be made available in three new colour options - Indian Motorcycle Red, Thunder Black Pearl and Star Silver Smoke. Indian Motorcycles has also added new colours to the rest of the Chieftain models.
Indian Motorcycles will make the 10-spoke 19-inch wheel available as an optional fitment for the Roadmaster, Roadmaster Classic, Chieftain, and Springfield motorcycles. The 2018 line-up of Indian Motorcycles will go on sale in the US market in the next few months. The updated Indian offerings are sure to come to Indian soon after. Meanwhile, the Indian Scout Bobber is expected to be launched in India sometime in September.
