Honda India has released a teaser on its social media platforms that hints at a new tech feature for its bikes and scooters. A new technological feature will be known as the H-Smart, and its full details will be made official on January 23. With the arrival of this teaser, several speculations have been going around the market regarding what it will offer to end customers in India. Honda has been reportedly falling short of meeting the tech requirements of customers in comparison to bike makers like Yamaha and Hero, which are already offering features such as the iSmart Start/Stop technology, and mild-hybrid system. So, it's quite possible that with the new H-Smart feature, which could be a fuel-saving function, Honda might be trying to keep pace with its rivals. Honda currently offers the silent start feature in some of its cars but not the Start/Stop feature.
It's also been speculated that the upcoming feature could be the anti-theft alarm system. A robotic hand and the word 'AI' in the teaser hints at a technology that functions in tandem with the engine's ECU to ensure a failsafe security system. There is a possibility that Honda's Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS), a feature seen on the CB300F and the H'ness CB350, could be the company's new tech offering for its two-wheelers. With the help of the Honda-exclusive software, you may use this feature to pair your Bluetooth communication device with the digital dash and receive notification alerts and turn-by-turn directions.

On January 23, Honda India is expected to reveal information on not only the purpose of this new feature but also on models that will come equipped with it. With this new feature, the company is likely to improve its position in the two-wheeler segment in India.
