Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has issued a recall for specific units of its CB350 and H'ness CB350 motorcycles produced between October 2020 and April 2024, due to problems with the wheel speed sensor and camshaft. The company recently announced the recall of models including the CB300F, CB300R, CB350, H'ness CB350, and CB350RS, manufactured during the same period, over concerns related to the wheel speed sensor. The bikemaker revealed that due to an issue with the molding process during production, water may seep into the wheel speed sensor. This can lead to sensor malfunctions, which may affect the accuracy of the speedometer, traction control, or ABS intervention. In worst-case scenarios, these malfunctions could compromise braking efficiency, posing a risk of serious accidents, particularly at high speeds.

The Japanese manufacturer has initiated a recall for specific units of the CB350, H'ness CB350, and CB350RS due to problems with the camshaft component. However, the exact number of affected motorcycles has not been disclosed. According to HMSI, an issue with the camshaft's manufacturing process might have affected the vehicle's overall performance. Honda has said that, as a precaution, the replacement of affected parts in the recalled motorcycles will be carried out at the company's BigWing dealerships across the country. These inspections and replacements will be provided at no cost to the customers, regardless of the motorcycles' warranty status. The company will proactively inform customers through calls, emails, or SMS via its BigWing dealers. Customers can also verify if their vehicle is included in this recall campaign by submitting their unique Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the Honda BigWing website.
