Honda launched the NX500 adventure tourer, which is expected to undergo a price increase in the near future. The initial price is set at Rs 5.90 lakh (ex-showroom). With the CB500X no longer being produced, the NX500 is now Honda's only middleweight adventure tourer available in India. It is worth mentioning that Honda has chosen to import the NX500, considering it a fully built-up (CBU) vehicle. Despite the NX500's many high-end features and modern hardware, it is surprisingly cheaper than the domestically produced CB500X.
Honda is clearly rethinking its pricing tactics in the Indian market, as this decision shows. With three eye-catching colour options, the Honda NX500 can be yours in Grand Prix Red, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, or Pearl Horizon White. Honda Big Wing dealerships are now accepting reservations, and deliveries are set to begin in February 2024.

Honda NX500: Price and Rivals
After taking heat for their pricing on large and mid-capacity bikes in the past, Honda has taken a step in the right direction with their new, more aggressive pricing approach for their premium bikes. At Rs 5.90 lakh, the NX500 is one of the more affordable options. One of the main competitors in this price category is the Benelli TRK 502, which is Rs 5,000 cheaper than the Honda. This price strategy from Honda is in line with what consumers anticipate and makes its premium products more appealing.
