Honda is expected to expand the Indian touring motorcycle market with the launch of the NT1100. The design patent for this road-focused model, already available in Europe, has been filed, indicating that its launch is just around the corner. While the Japanese manufacturer has yet to make an official announcement, the NT1100 is expected to debut as a CBU import, featuring a premium price tag and catering to a select group of riders. It will stack up against established competitors in the segment such as the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX, and the BMW R 1250 RT. Let’s take a closer look into the key details of the much-anticipated sport-tourer.

Honda NT1100: Design
The Honda NT1100 stands out with its beefy bodywork and grand touring aesthetics, making it a real head-turner. Built for long-distance comfort, it boasts an upright riding position, a unique headlight, a tall fairing, wide, comfortable seats, a broad handlebar, and a large windscreen. The bike is equipped with rider aids such as a 6.5-inch TFT instrument console, ABS, riding modes, smartphone connectivity, and traction control.
While the Indian design patent does not feature touring accessories, Honda does offer additional touring gear like hard panniers for the NT1100.
