In an attempt to take the two-wheeler industry by storm, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India launched five new two-wheelers today.
It seems that Honda doesn’t like the number two spot. After seeing the last two MotoGP seasons, this can be seen easily. In India too, they are doing everything they can to upset the number one player – Hero MotoCorp.
2015 will witness 15 new products from the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer out of which seven will be new vehicles and eight upgradations. Honda started the year by launching five new products today. It includes an all-new Activa known as Activa 3G, and upgrades of CB Shine, Dream Yuga, Dream Neo and Dio.
The new avatar of the iconic Activa, which recently crossed the 10 million mark in India, gets new styling in the form of new edge side panels, eye-catchy winkers, appealing front stance, premium 3D emblem and a new tail light. The tried-and-tested 110cc engine with Honda Eco Technology (HET) will run 60kms in a litre of fuel. Longer and wider seat with Combined Braking System (CBS), tubeless tyres and maintenance free battery provide extreme confidence.
The new Activa 3G has been priced very aggressively at Rs. 48,852 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new CB Shine now boasts of Combine Braking System (CBS) and Honda Eco Technology (HET) along with new graphics, new side panels, new visor, newly designed tank and alloy wheels.
The new Dream Yuga will have new stickers and graphics on the front cowl, side panel and fuel tank.
Dream Neo also gets new style quotient by having new graphics and lockable side cowl adding more practicality to the product.
The best looking product however, the Dio, will now arrive in dual tone colour schemes and also will come with new stickers, graphics and a sporty logo.
